On Tuesday and Wednesday, we followed up on last week's introduction to viewing "Pygmalion" through the lense of Marxist Criticism. First we looked into the "hidden rules" of social class (page 119), and then discussed the three aspects of Marxist Criticism--power, social class, and money--as seen in "Pygmalion." On both days, students had time to work on their scripts.
On Thursday and Friday, students will have class time to finish writing their scripts, due to Turnitin by midnight on Friday. The script assignment is outlined on pages 121-122 in the textbook.
