End-of-the-Semester Guide and Schedule

Tues. 1/19 Final study guide; watch “Edward Scissorhands"
Wed. 1/20 Finish film; analytical statement w/textual support, commentary, closure
Thurs. 1/21 Planning a Draft (graphic organizer, thesis statement, essay outline)
Fri. 1/22 Timed in-class essay.
Mon. 1/25 Review for final
Tues. 1/26 Finals 3, 5, 1
Wed. 1/27 Last day of 1st semester; Finals 2, 4, 6
Thurs. 1/28 First day of 2nd semester! Assembly at 8:45
Fri. 1/29 Teacher work day - No school
On Monday and Tuesday, we finished watching "Edward Scissorhands." To accompany the viewings, there are two handouts, both of which students received in class. In addition, I read through the final study guide with the class. Here are these handouts:
