On Thursday, there was time to rehearse and complete the written components of the oral interpretation of a monologue.
On Friday, we reviewed grading details by reading and annotating the grading rubric on page 245. Next, we read through the reflection prompt on page 246. The reflection is due to Turnitin by Thursday of next week.
Then, students received a handout to be used for note-taking and evaluation of their classmates' performances. Students had about ten minutes for last-minute rehearsal before our first performances by Fischer and Max!
For the remainder of the period--which wasn't very long--students read and annotated the "Introduction to Greek Drama" on page 247. Following the reading, students closed their books and we played a quick trivia game for candy!
Over the weekend, students should be memorizing and rehearsing!
